week 6
On Wednesday November the 23th it was a sunny day at Pt England school. The year 5’s had a trip to Kiwi Kapers in the City. First we had to wait until morning tea finished and then we got into our groups. Miss Scanlan told as our groups. When we were in our groups we had to walk to the hall for Mrs Nua to tell as some instructions for what we were doing. When Mrs Nua was finished we got ready to go .
When we got there we were so were excited . When we arrived there we had to sit down and wait for the other group but they were already there so we had go in and wait for it to start. While we were waiting we were talking to each other. We were all really excited when it started. But when it was half way I fell asleep. Then my friend named Arthur woke me up .
After it was finished we were ready to go back to school. On our way back to school we were singing the wheel on the bus when we got back to school we were tried . we had to get out to go home .to be continued ……………………...

jezakaia Immersion Assembly Immersion Assembly Writing Plan
On monday 17th of october we came back to school with a nice sunny day . we had a Immersion Assembly we lined up and waited till the teachers told us to go, when we arrived there we sat down in our line . when we all sat down we started watching teaches perform song called musical madness. This term our school is musical madness. Mr Burt, Mrs Nua, Mr Jacobson, Mr Somerville and Mr wiseman started the assembly in the band and sang musical madness. Then each of the team showed us what they are doing. Team one was playing snap and showed us how musical can change your feeling. Team two did the lion king song and showed us they are going to make instruments. Team 4’s topic was about them driving around pt england. Team 4’s topic was a bit comedy and action.Team 4’s topic was really funny like a comedy show,they drove around the block and they switched seats and the teacher switched the song from rock to JAZZ. I want to learn about guitar and drums.

Goldilocks and the Three Bears
Once upon a time there were three little bears. They lived in are cottage at Pt England reserve . Mummy bear was making breakfast for baby bear and daddy bear. The breakfast was ready so mummy bear was dishing the porridge out .But when baby bear said the porridge is hot to eat.Let go for a so when we come back from the walk it will be wrim said daddy bear. There was a girl named Goldilocks she walk pass and lock inside off the window. Then she pass the door and lock inside and saw some porridge on the table first she taste daddy bear porridge it was hot then she taste mummy bear and it was cold then she taste baby bear and it was the right one. She eat it all then she went into the sitting room she saw three seat she sat on daddy bear seat it was heard then she when on seat on mummy bear it was quite heard then she seat on baby bear it was the right one but when she sat on it but it broke she was getting tired so she went into the rooms. She tried daddy bear bed it was not comfortable . Then she tried mummy bear bed it was heard . Then she when on baby bear bed . It was the right one for her she now is going to sleep. 10 min later the 3 little bear came back and lock in the rooms baby bear who is sleeping on my bed said baby bear then Goldilocks ran are away then she got lost. The end

Dear Maggie Barry, Minister of Conservation,
My name is Jezakaia and I am from Pt England school. We have been learning about pest and predators and what they do to the environment. Pests and predators destroy New Zealand's native trees and birds which is damaging our environment. I think that we should make New Zealand pest and predator free by 2050 because it will be good. Hedgehogs hurt our native birds by taking their food.
You should keep working hard to get rid of the pests and predators to make New Zealand better and safer for our native birds and trees. I think the best way to help would be to kill the pests so that they are no longer around.
